More Countdown to Halloween Fun on the Cel Bloc for 2017!

For the fourth time, I am taking part in the annual Countdown to Halloween festivities here on the Cinema 4: Cel Bloc. If you are a regular visitor to these pages, welcome back once again, and if you have dropped on by from the Countdown to Halloween website, welcome as well!

If you are unfamiliar with Countdown to Halloween, it is an online portal that lists websites that specialize in things related to Halloween to give fans or even someone mildly interested in the subject a place to discover cool new places to visit or even relocate old favorites. The sites are not necessarily all horror-related; they might have articles, photos, how-to activities, cosplay, videos, etc. that touch on the genre, but the common theme is that everyone loves the buildup to Halloween. Interested sites get in touch with the Countdown to Halloween website (http://countdowntohalloween.blogspot.com/), and then your site gets added to a handy list that people can reference throughout October (and the rest of the year, really). They promote you, they give you nifty badges you can use on your site or on social media to draw people to your sites, and thereby help promote Countdown to Halloween in general. Fun and free...

I posted a lot last year on all of my sites for the 2016 Countdown. I not only had articles here on the Cel Bloc, but also on The Cinema 4 Pylon (my main site), on The Shark Film Office, and on my then-latest site, V for Voluminous, C for Cinema (my book review site). My buddy Aaron and I also had a couple of posts we promoted on our Stephen King site, We Who Watch Behind the Rows. There should be posts on all of these same sites this October, so please click on the names of the sites above if you are interested in checking out even more fun Halloween stuff.

I have about a half dozen scary cartoons picked out for the Cel Bloc this season, the first of which will go live on October 1 (Scrappy's Ghost Story) from 1935, and there should be a new cartoon every five or six days or so (with probably a surprise extra short or two) throughout the month leading up to the Big Day. So keep checking back regularly if you can.

In the meantime, leading up to the start of the Countdown, I wanted to make you aware of cartoons that I have posted during the three previous Countdowns in which the Cel Bloc took part, so that you have a handy reading list of what came before. And even more cartoons to watch during October!
